At the International School of Florida, we take particular care to factor into our program an allowance for smooth educational transition from country to country.

   To ensure as little disruption as possible, we have tailored our calendar to follow the Hillsborough County School District calendar, as much as possible. We start the school year in August, ending the last week in May, with an 11-weeks summer break. This allows our students to travel with their families and to spend time with friends and relatives.

   We also have a one week in October, a two-week break in December – January, one week in March. This gives students time to rest with friends and family as well as time to enjoy the local cultural and travel opportunities.
